Requirements and Technical notes

Note that alkasir requires Net 2.0 Framework or higher. It is obvious that you've already succeeded in running the program, meaning that you already met this requirements. But keep this in mind when you invite friends or inform others.

alkasir also operates on Windows 32-bit operating systems. We did not test it on any 64-bit system and it is not guaranteed to work there. Furthermore, there are currently no plans to develop a Mac OS version neither is there a plan to develop a Unix version.

Furthermore, the program currently only works with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. It was not tested with other browsers and most likely will not work through them.

Finally, note that the program requires you to have many exceptions for firewalls. Because of the type of technology the program deploys, it will require permission to access many ports on the Internet and have listening ports as well. Keep that in mind when you change or update your Firefox/IE settings.
